Your Experience
Avoid blood-thinning medications and supplements (aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil) for 5–7 days prior. Refrain from alcohol for 24 hours. Avoid laser treatments, chemical peels, or prescription wrinkle products for 4 weeks before your appointment. Disclose all medications, health conditions, and any history of allergies. Arrive with clean skin.
Your provider maps injection sites and may apply topical numbing cream. Both Revanesse® products contain lidocaine, so discomfort fades quickly. Lips and facial areas can be treated in the same session. Most treatments are complete in 30–45 minutes. Results are visible immediately.
Clinical data shows 50% fewer patients experience swelling vs. leading alternatives. Any mild swelling or bruising typically resolves within a few days. Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours and heat treatments for 48 hours. Full results settle within 1–2 weeks.
Safety & Information
What is hyaluronic acid?
Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a naturally occurring sugar in the body that helps the skin stay hydrated and plump. As we age, natural HA levels decrease. Revanesse® fillers use HA to restore volume and smooth lines — with results that look and feel completely natural.
Who should not receive Revanesse®?
Treatment is not recommended if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a history of hypertrophic scarring, active acne or inflammatory skin conditions near the injection sites, allergies to hyaluronic acid, lidocaine, or Streptococcal proteins, or if you are on anticoagulant therapy. Patients under 22 years of age should not be treated.
Can Versa™+ and Lips™+ be combined?
Yes. Both products can be used together in a single session — treating facial wrinkles, nasolabial folds, and lips at the same appointment. Your Valley Aesthetic provider will create a personalized plan to achieve your goals efficiently.
What are the common side effects?
The most common side effects are temporary bruising, swelling, and mild injection site pain. Revanesse® Versa™+ is clinically proven to cause 50% less swelling and 74% less pain than leading comparable fillers. Any side effects typically resolve within a few days.
How long do results last?
Results are immediate and typically last 6–12 months or longer depending on the treatment area, volume used, and individual metabolism. Your provider will recommend a personalized maintenance schedule to preserve your results.
Can I combine with other treatments?
Avoid laser, IPL, chemical peels, or dermabrasion treatments within 4 weeks of your Revanesse® appointment due to the risk of inflammation. Your provider will advise on the ideal sequence for combining treatments in your overall care plan.
Important Safety Information: One of the risks of being injected with any dermal filler is unintentional injection into a blood vessel. These complications can include vision abnormalities, blindness, stroke, temporary scabs, or permanent scarring of the skin. If you experience any adverse reaction persisting more than one week after treatment, contact your healthcare provider immediately.
