Avoid irritating skincare products for 2–3 days prior, discontinue tanning or sun exposure for at least one week, and remove all jewelry from the treatment area. Your provider will review your skin goals and walk you through the three phases of treatment.
The photofacial phase delivers a sensation similar to a light snap on the skin — brief and comfortable with built-in cooling. The RF anti-aging component feels warm and deeply relaxing, like a heated facial massage. The skin resurfacing phase may feel like a gentle pricking heat as the electrode pins work their renewal process. Most clients find the full session highly tolerable.
Expect 3–5 days of mild downtime. Skin will appear warm and flushed initially, similar to a sunburn. Apply SPF 30+ within 24–48 hours and avoid direct sun exposure and hot baths for 2–3 days.
